Meet Sherrie
Sherrie Trede Black, RN, JD, MAc, LAc, received her Masters of Acupuncture from Tai Sophia Institute, now Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH), Laurel MD, in 2005, and continues to serve there as an adjunct faculty member.
Sherrie believes that achieving health and wellness requires a whole person approach, one that may require lifestyle changes to diet, sleep hygiene, exercise, and stress reduction to move you from a place of “dis-ease” to healing. Sherrie calls upon her knowledge of Acupuncture and conventional medicine, low glycemic eating, and nutritional supplementation, to help her clients reach their wellness goals. She creates an environment in her treatment room that encourages her clients to meet each day with gratitude and to see the small daily gifts that give life meaning.
Sherrie obtained a Diploma in Nursing from Allentown Hospital Nurses College.
